Cruel April is a project I began working on in my spare time in early 2006. This collection of songs was recorded and mixed in my home during the next few months. At that time there were plans to possibly assemble a new band including John Emery on bass. It was to be departure from the heavier style of Anacrusis, with songs written around a framework of acoustic guitar, and featuring a broader range of styles. Unfortunately, the project never got off the ground.

Along with the vocals, I played and/or sequenced all of the instruments on these tracks. Since there are no immediate plans to release these recordings, I have included them here for anyone interested in hearing new material.
